Dear friends,

I hope that you have had your power restored. Claudia tells me it is back on at church (I’m in Chattanooga today), but it is still out at home and may be out until Sunday night. Fingers crossed that it’s not that long.

Remember that this Sunday we will be celebrating All Saints’ Day with an outdoor Eucharist at 10 a.m., which will also be livestreamed. If you want to attend in person we need you to sign up by midnight tonight so that we can set things up in the morning, Here is the link:

O God, you have bound us together in a common life. Help us, in the midst of our struggles for justice and truth, to confront one another without hatred or bitterness, and to work together with mutual forbearance and respect, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
