Dear friends,
I have just a few things to remind you of as we enter into the busy holiday season.
First, thanks to everyone who signed up to provide ingredients for Thanksgiving side dishes to the residents around Emmaus House. All 50 slots are filled. Please have them to the church by next Sunday, November 17.
As we get those bags of goodies delivered to Emmaus House, we will begin collecting gifts for a family through Solidarity Sandy Springs. The family has seven children. We’ll be sending out a SignUp Genius link early next week. These gifts need to be collected by December 7, so there is not a lot of time to get things done.
We are hoping to wrap up our stewardship campaign. If you have not already sent in your pledge card, please do so. If you’ve lost your card or did not receive one you can get them in the narthex. Or you can send our treasurer, Lee Morris, an email telling him your pledge.
Finally, remember that tomorrow during the Sunday School hour (beginning at 9:30 in the Founders’ Room) we will have a community gathering for all to share their concerns and thoughts about the election. I hope to see you there.
I hope you enjoy the rest of this beautiful fall day. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
With love,
Tricia
