Dear friends,

There are several things coming up in the days and weeks ahead.

First, if you have been craving Thin Mints your habit can be satisfied tomorrow. Here is a note from our resident Girl Scout, Reese O’Connel.

Hi everyone! This is Reese. I am going to be at St. Dunstan’s on Sunday the 23rd selling Girl Scout cookies. We will only have Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, and Lemon-Ups. They will be six dollars a box. If you would like to buy any other kinds of cookies, you can purchase them on my Digital Cookie website (link below) and they will be shipped to you within a week. Anyone who has already bought cookies from me will also be given their cookies on this date. Thank you for considering buying from me!

A week from tomorrow is the last Sunday before Lent begins, which at St. Dunstan’s means it’s jazz and pancake time! We will one service at 10 a.m., with a Dixieland Jazz Band. Then we’ll move to the parish hall for pancakes. Please bring a brunch side dish. It should be a joyful Sunday.

Adding to the joy is that our refugee families will be joining us for the day. One of the women, Leila, is pregnant and due in late March. So our brunch will be combined with a baby shower for her. Katy Pierre has put together a registry of things that are needed. You can link to it here.

This QR code also links to the registry.

Finally, a reminder that the penitential season of Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on March 5. We’ll have services at noon and 7 p.m, that day.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

With love,

Tricia
