Dear friends,

Tomorrow continues our Easter celebration. Actually it will continue until the Day of Pentecost, which this year is May 19th. The service leaflet for tomorrow is attached. We also will begin a new Sunday School series tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. based on a book “What Makes You Come Alive” about the teachings of Howard Thurman, considered the godfather of the Civil Rights Movement. Come join the discussion!

And here are a couple of dates to remember:

April 14th — Next Sunday is our annual parish meeting. We will have one service at 10 a.m. The meeting will be incorporated into the worship. We will affirm a slate of new vestry members, and hear reports about what has happened in the life of the church in the past year. It’s a time to ask questions or make comments or suggestions about our future. Please come and share in this important part of our church life. There will be a lunch afterwards.

May 19th — This day has a lot of significance. It is Pentecost, one of the great feast days of the church. It is also St. Dunstan’s Day. And it is the day we will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of our beloved church. Again, we will have one service at 10 a.m., followed by a luncheon. More details to come. You won’t want to miss the celebration.

I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.

With love,

Tricia
