Dear friends,
The season of Advent is fast upon us. One of the special treats we have for you during this special season is a piano recital by Cameron on Saturday, December 4, at 7 p.m. He will be playing pieces by Beethoven, Bach, and Liszt. There will be a reception following the recital. Please post this flyer on your social media and send it to your friends. It should be a lovely evening of great music.
St. Dunstan’s has come through again! When Emmaus House, the Episcopal ministry serving the area around the old Turner Field, sent out a request for help providing Thanksgiving dinner for their community, our Vestry outreach liaison, Vivian Siggers, didn’t hesitate. Emmaus House’s goal was 200 bags filled with all the needed ingredients for Thanksgiving side dishes. We signed up to provide 50 of them. Within no time, people had signed up for all 50 of them. Thank you to all who brought bags and to Vivian, Beth Zimmer, and Mimi Gold, who delivered them to Emmaus House this morning. I am convinced there is not a more generous congregation in the Diocese of Atlanta.
Finally, I ask that you keep in your prayers Michele Smither, whose father Al Sims, died on Friday; and Margaret Michaelides, whose brother James Green, died yesterday. May light perpetual shine upon them.
