The Episcopal Church’s Presiding Bishop Michael Curry has the heart
of an evangelist. He is coming to Atlanta on January 22 to hold an
Episcopal-style revival (No, I’ve never been to one before!) The event
will be held at Morehouse University. Food trucks will be there from
4:30-5:30 p.m., and the revival begins at 6. Tickets are free, but must
be reserved by November 24. I’ve registered, and encourage you to do so,
too.
Here is the announcement from the diocese:
You, your neighbor, and congregation are invited to ReviveATL: Love in Action,an
Episcopal Revival of the Diocese of Atlanta. The Planning Team is in
the process of finalizing the venue, and we need all participants
registered by November 24. Register while there are still seats. Join Presiding Bishop Michael B. Curry, the Royal Wedding Preacher, and Bishop Robert C. Wright of the Diocese of Atlanta, and Episcopalians, friends, and seekers who are following the call to open their hearts, minds, and doors to the concerns of our state and country. |
