Dear friends,
Just when I think I can no longer be shocked by any news of the pandemic I read something new that shocks me. Today it was an article stating that since the November 3 election more than a million Americans have been infected with Covid and more than 10,000 have died. If the exponential rate of doubling cases keeps us, we will have more than 330,000 new cases per day in the next 10 days. In El Paso, Texas nine percent of the population is infected.
Thankfully Georgia has not reached that level (yet), but if we want to prevent that we all need to continue being as vigilant as possible. We will be moving Sunday worship back to online only for the foreseeable future.
And, of course, we will continue with online compline each evening at 8. Attached is the service for this week. Hope to see you this evening.
