Dear friends,

This week we begin the special services of Holy Week. Tonight through Wednesday night we will be online at 8 to pray the Stations of the Cross, following Jesus from his arrest to the laying of his body in the tomb. On Thursday we move into the special liturgies of Holy Week. Our Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil services will all be online at 7 p.m. I’ll have more to say about each service later.

And then Sunday we will celebrate the resurrection both online and in the church. I cannot wait to see people in the pews again! I wish we could have the church packed and overflowing, but the Covid protocols rightly prevent that. Still I am happy for this step toward normal. This Easter will be a special one.

Lastly, but most importantly, I ask for your continued prayers for Tommy Hannah, who had a heart attack on Saturday. He is in critical condition in the ICU at St. Joseph’s. Please also include Mary Jane and Rhea in your prayers, too. I will give you updates as we know more.

The service sheet for the Stations of the Cross is attached. The beautiful photographs were taken by Tommy, so as we pray the stations we will include him in our prayers.
