Dear friends,
I am writing to let you know our long-time parishioner Sheila Woodard died yesterday. In recent years Sheila’s health prevented her from coming to church, but she remained devoted to St. Dunstan’s. She and her husband Dan, who died in 2012, never missed a Sunday. I am meeting with Sheila’s family on Monday to talk about funeral plans. I will pass on the details of the service after that.
O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered: Accept our prayers on behalf of your servant Sheila, and grant her an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
