Dear friends,
As I write this I can hear the choir down the hall, rehearsing for tomorrow’s special program of Advent music. It sounds glorious. You don’t want to miss it! Give yourself an Advent gift and come to hear them tomorrow at 4 p.m.
At our 10:45 service tomorrow morning (bulletin attached) we will remember our long-time parishioner Peachy Horne, who died October 25, with a special reception following the service.
In Sunday School tomorrow (at 9:30) we continue our study of the women in Jesus’ family tree with a discussion of Bathsheba and Ruth. All are welcome.
Remember that we are collecting coffee (ground, NO decaf), sugar, and hot chocolate mix for Church of the Common Ground through next Sunday, the 11th. Pick up some things next time you go to the store and put them in the red wagon in the narthex.
And finally, if you have not turned in your pledge card yet, please do so to avoid a phone call or email from the stewardship committee. We are almost finished with the campaign!.
