Tomorrow we celebrate Pentecost, one of the most joyous days of the church year. It is the day that Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit comes to fruition. The Spirit appears as tongues of fire above the disciples’ heads, and a great rush of wind that blows them out of a locked room into the world The liturgical color for the Holy Spirit is red. If you have red, please wear it tomorrow.
