Dear friends,
I am writing with happy news (for a change!). Last night our parishioner John Lloyd married Cindy Woolbright in a beautiful service at St. Dunstan’s. It was very intimate, the bride and groom, her two adult children, and Cameron and me, but the simplicity made it more special. It felt so good to be in the church doing something joyful.
And the flower guild — Claudia Gimson, Suzanne Van De Mark, and Lucy Kaltenbach — outdid themselves. I’m including some pictures for you to see. And yes, that is a Christmas tree. In Advent. In the church. But it’s 2020 and the liturgical police are all in quarantine. The rules have been thrown out the window.
