Dear friends,
I hope you are having a good weekend, putting the finishing touches on your Christmas celebration. And, of course, I hope that celebration includes coming to church. Tomorrow is a big day since it is both the Fourth Sunday of Advent and Christmas Eve. We will celebrate Advent 4 at 10 a.m. Then we will get things ready for the Christmas Eve service, with music at 4:45 and the service beginning at 5. And it is okay to come to both services.
Here is a reminder of the schedule for the next couple of weeks.
- Christmas Day — one service at 10 a.m.
- December 31 — one service of Christmas Lessons and Carols at 10 a.m.
- January 7 — one service at 10 a.m.
We will resume our usual schedule on January 14.
The service leaflets for both of tomorrow’s services are attached.
If you are out of town I’ll wish you a Merry Christmas now. If you’re in town I hope to see you tomorrow and/or Monday morning.
