Dear friends,
What a glorious Holy Week and Easter morning we had at St. Dunstan’s! It takes a whole church community to put all those services together. Special thanks to the altar guild, which set up for four entirely different liturgies; to the flower guild, which once again outdid themselves; to Cameron and the choir, who gave us beautiful music all week long; to Katharina McCawley, whose cake for the Easter Vigil defies description (and it tasted good, too);
to Claudia, who produced four different bulletins, and also was involved in everything else that went on; to Ralph, who made sure all the services were live streamed, and to Maggie and Colin, for sharing in the preaching and celebrating.
The office will be closed most of this week (other than going by to feed the cats). In an hour I am leaving for the airport to take a midnight flight to London. I’ve never been before and am very excited. I will be back on Monday, the 28th; and back in the office the next day. Next Sunday Stefanie Taylor, the head chaplain at Holy Innocents School will be with you. There will be no Sunday School. We’ll start that back up on May 4.
Wishing you all a joyous Eastertide.
With love,
Tricia
