I have just a few things to share with you today. First, a reminder that we are the hosts for Family Promise the week of February 14. When I looked at the SIgnUP Genius I was amazed at how full it was. But we still need $25 gifts cards for Kroger and gas, boxes of disposable silverware, and people to spend the night Wednesday and Thursday. Remember that the families will be staying at Roswell Presbyterian Church, just across the river. Even though the Covid vaccine is available (although getting an appointment is not so easy), the numbers of cases in Georgia are rising. Over the weekend I heard from several friends who have tested positive, one after receiving the first dose of the vaccine. Today Bishop Wright announced he has tested positive. All of these people have taken precautions. So this is a reminder to please, please don’t let your guard down now. Wear the mask, social distance, don’t go anywhere that isn’t absolutely necessary. And pray for the bishop and his family.
